Traffic signs safely direct and regulate the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in and around parking areas, dock areas, and roadways. This kit includes durable .080" aluminum signs that will not rust and are designed to provide added visibility in low-light conditions. Utilizing economical micro-prismatic retro reflective sheeting that is three times brighter than traditional engineer-grade sheeting, these signs are suitable for commercial sign applications as well as non-critical traffic control signs regulated by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The signs feature UV-resistant inks that prevent fading from long-term outdoor use, and they come with a clear UV protective overcoat and post mount holes. They comply with MUTCD regulations for traffic signs on all roads open to public traffic and meet ASTM D 4956 Type III, Type IV, and Type X standards. The surface-printed prismatic sheeting, recognized by the Federal Highway Administration, is bonded to aluminum and withstands extreme temperatures ranging from -40° to 250° F. The signs come with rounded corners and can have either 1/4" corner holes or 3/8" post mount holes. Additionally, bicycle warning signs such as Bikeway Narrows (W5-4A) may be installed on bicycle facilities to warn bicyclists of conditions not readily apparent. The product meets the standards outlined in MUTCD Section 9B.18, which identifies that traffic signs and pavement markings on all roads open to public traffic are to be high-intensity prismatic.
