This traffic sign kit includes durable, .080" aluminum signs that will not rust and feature an engineer-grade prismatic (EGP) reflective surface for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. The signs are printed with UV-resistant inks to prevent fading from prolonged outdoor exposure and are protected by Sign Muscle® to withstand harsh abuse and graffiti. Finishing options include rounded corners and either 1/4" or 3/8" corner holes for post mounting. The micro-prismatic retro reflective sheeting, bonded to aluminum, meets ASTM D 4956 Type I standards and is recognized by the Federal Highway Administration. The signs are designed to endure extreme temperatures, with a service temperature range from -40° to 250° F. They provide extra visibility during low-light and nighttime conditions and are an excellent choice for regulatory, warning, and work zone signs. The kit also includes bicycle warning signs, such as Bikeway Narrows (W5-4A), which may be installed on bicycle facilities to alert cyclists to conditions that might not be readily apparent. All signs adhere to the standards outlined in the MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices), including compliance with MUTCD Section 9B.18.
