King's KB series unit heaters are designed for use as primary or supplemental heat sources in large or exposed areas, including high-rise buildings, stores, warehouses, garages, water treatment facilities, and fire room vaults to prevent freezing. The units feature spiral finned steel elements and a high CFM that ensure even air distribution, resulting in cooler element operation and prolonging heater life. Each heater includes a universal wall/ceiling bracket for simple installation, adjustable louvers to direct air, a built-in fan delay to dissipate heat, a built-in thermostat, a high mass steel fin heat exchanger, patented Smart Limit Protection®, and a permanently lubricated unit bearing motor. Constructed with 20 gauge electro galvanized steel and a rust inhibiting baked enamel finish, the exterior and interior metal enclosure parts exhibit smooth rounded corners and protective edge trim for an attractive modern appearance. The adjustable outlet louver allows for air direction adjustments as needed, and a heavy gauge steel rear intake screen protects against foreign objects coming into contact with the rotating fan blade. The spiral fin elements are copper brazed with spiral fins molded into a coil configuration, optimizing heat transfer and preventing hot spots by positioning the element in the maximum airflow stream. The totally enclosed fan motor is designed for long life with permanent lubrication.
