King's KB series unit heaters are engineered for use as primary or supplemental heat sources in large or exposed areas such as high-rise buildings, stores, warehouses, garages, water treatment facilities, and fire room vaults to prevent freezing. The units feature spiral finned steel elements and high CFM for even air distribution, which contributes to cooler element operation and extended heater life. Equipped with adjustable louvers to direct air, a built-in fan delay to dissipate heat, a built-in thermostat, and a high mass steel fin heat exchanger, the KB unit heater ensures effective heating. Additionally, it includes patented Smart Limit Protection®, a permanently lubricated unit bearing motor, and a universal wall/ceiling bracket for straightforward installation. Constructed from 20 gauge electro galvanized steel with a rust-inhibiting baked enamel finish, the exterior and interior metal enclosure parts provide durability and modern aesthetics with smooth rounded corners and protective edge trim. The adjustable outlet louver allows for air direction customization, while the rear intake screen safeguards against foreign objects. The spiral fin elements, copper brazed and molded into a coil configuration, optimize heat transfer and prevent hot spots by situating the element in maximum airflow. The unit also features a totally enclosed fan motor for long-lasting, maintenance-free operation.
