King's KB Series unit heaters are designed for use as primary or supplemental heat sources in large or exposed areas, including high-rise buildings, stores, warehouses, garages, water treatment facilities, and fire room vaults to prevent freezing. The unit heaters feature spiral finned steel elements and high CFM to ensure even air distribution, resulting in cooler element operation and prolonging heater life. Each unit includes a universal wall/ceiling bracket for simple installation and adjustable louvers to direct air. Additional features include a built-in fan delay to dissipate heat, a built-in thermostat, a high mass steel fin heat exchanger, patented Smart Limit Protection®, and a permanently lubricated unit bearing motor. The construction consists of all exterior and interior metal enclosure parts made from 20 gauge electro-galvanized steel with a rust inhibiting baked enamel finish, providing an attractive modern appearance with smooth rounded corners and protective edge trim. The adjustable outlet louver allows for air direction adjustment, and a heavy gauge steel rear intake screen protects against foreign objects making contact with the rotating fan blade. The spiral fin elements, which are copper brazed with spiral fins and molded into a coil configuration, ensure optimal heat transfer while preventing hot spots by positioning the element in the maximum airflow stream. The completely enclosed fan motor is designed for permanent lubrication and long life.
