King's KB series unit heaters are engineered for use as primary or supplemental heat sources in expansive or exposed spaces, such as high-rise buildings, stores, warehouses, garages, water treatment facilities, and fire room vaults to prevent freezing. Featuring spiral finned steel elements and high CFM for even air distribution, these heaters ensure cooler element operation and extended lifespan. Each unit includes a universal wall/ceiling bracket for straightforward installation and boasts adjustable louvers for directing air, a built-in fan delay to dissipate heat, a built-in thermostat, a high mass steel fin heat exchanger, and patented Smart Limit Protection®. The motor is a permanently lubricated unit bearing type, and the construction utilizes 20 gauge electro galvanized steel with a rust-inhibiting baked enamel finish, complemented by smooth rounded corners and protective edge trim for a modern aesthetic. A heavy gauge rear intake screen safeguards against foreign objects contacting the rotating fan blade, while the spiral fin elements, which are copper brazed and molded into a coil configuration, optimize heat transfer and mitigate hot spots by positioning the element within the maximum airflow stream. The totally enclosed fan motor is designed for long life and maintenance-free operation.
