The WHF heater combines the rapid heat transfer of a nichrome element with the performance of a squirrel cage blower, resulting in a relatively quiet heater without the added cost of a high mass element like the Pic-a-Watt. It is widely utilized as the first upgrade in apartment construction and is particularly well-suited for bathrooms due to the instant heat provided by the wire element. The heater features include a nichrome open coil element for quick heat transfer, a whisper-quiet squirrel cage blower, a dual wattage design, and patented Smart Limit Protection that automatically shuts off power in abnormal events and requires manual reset for safety. Additional attributes include a wall can with Quickset, stud alignment tabs, and dimensions where the maximum mounting height is 12 inches from the ceiling and the minimum mounting height is 4 inches from the floor.
