The industrial steel gantry crane is engineered for efficiently transporting and positioning materials along the beam's length, featuring a robust solid steel construction designed for durability. Each unit includes four (4) position locking swivel casters with roller bearings; specifically, the 2K-4K units have glass filled nylon casters, the 6K-8K units are equipped with phenolic casters, and the 10K model features steel casters. The crane locks the rigging in one of four positions, allowing for movement in any direction. An optional total locking caster is available, which secures the rigging in any position and prevents wheel rotation. This gantry crane is more economical and flexible than permanent cranes, boasting a quick setup design and a painted blue finish with warning and operating stickers; it also comes with a complete owner's manual. Designed for semi-permanent or permanent applications, setup requires assistance from a fork truck. The crane features heavy-duty welded steel construction for longevity, and each unit has adjustable height that can be managed with a fork truck or other overhead lifting device. All units meet applicable CMAA and ANSI specifications, with a base dimension of 179-3/4 inches by 88-1/2 inches.
