The OSHA compliant, non-penetrating rooftop railing is designed specifically for leading edge fall protection at ladder access points, constructed with counterbalance arms and weighted PVC bases. The kit includes two 10-foot sections of Kee Guard® railing, allowing for a total length of 240 inches plus the width of the ladder, ensuring 10 feet of railing on each side of the ladder access. The system features steel gray pipe and fittings, recycled PVC black weighted bases, ladder clamps, additional fittings for attaching the railing to ladder rails, and a universal self-closing gate (part# SGNA500GV). The Kee Guard® rooftop guardrail offers a protective solution for workers using fixed ladders to enter and exit rooftops, with the mounting location positioned at the leading edge of the rooftop at the ladder access. The guardrail provides vital fall protection at one of the most dangerous transition points from the roof to the ladder, while the Kee Gate® ensures intentional approach to the access point. The railing system is versatile and easy to install without the need for on-site welding, requiring only basic tools, and can be adapted to accommodate unique design requirements for non-standard roof applications. It also integrates well with Kee Safety® safety railing for enhanced roof edge protection on flat or low-slope roofs.
