The industrial steel gantry crane is designed for transporting and positioning materials along the beam's length, built with heavy-duty welded steel construction for long-lasting use. Each unit includes four (4) position locking swivel casters with roller bearings; the 2K-4K units have glass-filled nylon casters, the 6K-8K units feature phenolic casters, and the 10K model is equipped with steel casters. The crane locks the rigging in one of four positions, allowing for movement forward, back, left, or right, and offers an optional total locking caster that secures both the rigging and wheel rotation. Its quick setup design makes it more economical and flexible than permanent cranes, while the painted blue finish comes with warning and operating stickers, as well as a complete owner's manual. The gantry crane is suitable for semi-permanent or permanent applications and requires assistance from a fork truck for setup. The crane complies with applicable CMAA and ANSI specifications, featuring an adjustable height that can be modified with a fork truck or other overhead lifting device. The base dimensions measure 179-3/4 inches by 88-1/2 inches.
