The industrial steel gantry crane is engineered for transporting and positioning materials along the beam's length, featuring heavy-duty welded steel construction for long-lasting use. Each unit includes four (4) position locking swivel casters with roller bearings; specifically, the 2K-4K units have glass filled nylon casters, while the 6K-8K units are equipped with phenolic casters, and the 10K model features steel casters. The crane can lock the rigging in one of four positions, allowing users to set the wheels and maneuver the gantry crane in multiple directions. An optional total locking caster is available to secure the rigging in any position while also locking the wheel from rotating. This crane is more economical and flexible than permanent cranes and boasts a quick setup design; however, assistance from a fork truck is required for setup. It is painted blue and includes warning and operating stickers along with a complete owner's manual. All units have an easy adjustable height that can be modified with a fork truck or other overhead lifting device and comply with applicable CMAA and ANSI specifications. The base dimensions measure 119-3/4 inches by 88-1/2 inches.
