The ANSI certified Type II, Class E industrial climbing helmet is designed for superior impact protection while working at heights or in confined spaces, featuring a lightweight ABS shell and an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner. The highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension offers exceptional protection against top and lateral impact hazards. The Traverse™ - MIPS® includes a low friction layer that allows for 10mm - 15mm of relative motion in all directions, effectively redirecting harmful rotational motion away from the head during angled impacts. Key attributes include an ultra lightweight ABS shell, MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) for reducing rotational motion, and an EPS foam impact liner to absorb forces from front, side, or rear impacts. The helmet is equipped with a 4-point cross-over chin strap with a quick release buckle for adjustability and a secure fit, along with a rugged non-slip adjustable Sure-Lock wheel ratchet for proper suspension performance. The inner suspension is padded for comfort above the brow line, meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class E standards, complies with clauses 4.2 of EN12492, and is compatible with the full line of Traverse accessories. End of life recycling is facilitated through the TerraCycle® program. The helmet features a cap style brim and is categorized as a non-vented hard hat, with size adjustment made via wheel ratchet.
