The ANSI certified Type II, Class C industrial climbing helmet offers superior impact protection while working at heights or in confined spaces. It features a super lightweight ABS shell and an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner that, along with the highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension, provide exceptional protection from top of head and lateral impact hazards. The Traverse™ - MIPS® system includes a low friction layer that allows the head to move inside the helmet, with 10mm - 15mm of relative motion in all directions, helping to redirect harmful rotational motion otherwise transferred to the head. Key features include an ultra lightweight ABS shell, a MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) designed to reduce rotational motion from angled impacts, an EPS foam impact liner for absorbing forces from front, side, or rear impacts, a 4-point cross-over chin strap with a quick release buckle for an adjustable fit, and a rugged non-slip adjustable Sure-Lock wheel ratchet for proper suspension performance. The inner suspension features comfortable padding above the brow line, and the helmet meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class E and clauses 4.2 of EN12492. It is compatible with the full line of Traverse accessories and has a cap style brim. The vented shell allows air movement inside for enhanced comfort and cooling, while the chin strap is made of 4-point polyester. The product is end-of-life recyclable through the TerraCycle® program, which facilitates the collection of used personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize landfill waste, although contaminated PPE cannot be recycled.
