The ANSI certified Type II, Class C industrial climbing helmet provides superior impact protection for work at heights or in confined spaces. It features a lightweight ABS shell and an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner that work together with a highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension to deliver exceptional protection against top-of-head and lateral impact hazards. The helmet incorporates the Traverse™ - MIPS® system, which includes a low friction layer that allows for a relative motion of 10mm - 15mm in all directions, effectively redirecting harmful rotational forces away from the head. Key features include an ultra-lightweight ABS shell, a MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) for reducing rotational motion from angled impacts, an EPS foam impact liner for absorbing forces from front, side, or rear impacts, and a 4-point cross-over chin strap with a quick-release buckle that ensures a safe and secure fit. The rugged non-slip adjustable Sure-Lock wheel ratchet assures proper suspension performance and an effortless fit for all head sizes, while the inner suspension contains comfortable padding above the brow line. The helmet meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class E and complies with clauses 4.2 of EN12492. It is compatible with the complete line of Traverse accessories and features a polyester 4-point chin strap. Additionally, the helmet is vented to facilitate air movement for improved user comfort and cooling. End-of-life recycling is available through the TerraCycle® program, which helps reduce landfill waste from used PPE, although contaminated PPE cannot be recycled.
