The Kee Dome® is a free-standing, non-penetrating guardrail system designed for fall protection around skylights and smoke vents, accommodating railing measurements up to 96" x 192", with an adjustable length of up to 576". The system features horizontal pipes that can be cut on-site to specific dimensions and consists of steel gray pipes and fittings, along with recycled PVC black weighted bases. It is a modular system that allows contractors and maintenance crews to safely access rooftops for repair and maintenance without the risk of falling through glazed areas. The installation is designed for perimeter placement around skylights and smoke vents and allows for quick assembly using standard components, including vertical posts, hand and knee rails with 90° corner components, and special recycled PVC feet with clamping rings. Although intended as a permanent solution, the Kee Dome® system is fully modular, enabling expansion to accommodate various skylight sizes, and is suitable for all roof surfaces with a maximum pitch of 3°. The system utilizes Kee Klamp® components that are galvanized for durability and virtually maintenance-free use, and it complies with BS EN ISO 14122 Part 3 and OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.23. The product is versatile, designed to fit square and rectangular skylights, rooflights, and dome lights, and can be easily assembled with simple hand tools to create a protective barrier around skylights, thereby preventing potential falls.
