The Kee Dome® is a free-standing, non-penetrating guardrail system designed for fall protection around skylights and smoke vents, with materials provided for railing measuring up to 192" x 96", and an adjustable length of up to 768". The horizontal pipes can be cut on-site for specific dimensions, constructed from steel gray pipe and fittings with recycled PVC black weighted bases. This modular system enables contractors and maintenance crews to safely access rooftops for repair and maintenance work without the risk of falling through glazed areas, featuring perimeter installation around skylights and smoke vents. The Kee Dome® system boasts quick assembly with standard components, including vertical posts, hand and knee rails, 90° corner components, and special recycled PVC feet with clamping rings. It is fully modular, allowing for expansion to accommodate various skylight sizes and is suitable for all roof surfaces with a maximum pitch of 3°. The system relies on industry-leading galvanized Kee Klamp® components, ensuring durability and minimal maintenance, and is fully compliant with independent testing to BS EN ISO 14122 part 3 and OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.23. Versatile in application, it fits square and rectangular skylights, rooflights, and dome lights, and its simple installation can be accomplished using basic hand tools, effectively creating a protective barrier to prevent falls around hazardous skylight areas.
