The ANSI certified Type II, Class E industrial climbing helmet provides superior impact protection for work at heights or in confined spaces. It features a super lightweight ABS shell and an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner, complemented by a highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension for exceptional protection against top and lateral impact hazards. The Traverse™ - MIPS® incorporates a low friction layer that allows for 10mm to 15mm of relative motion in all directions, effectively redirecting harmful rotational motion otherwise transferred to the head. Key features include an ultra lightweight ABS shell, MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) to mitigate rotational forces from angled impacts, and an EPS foam impact liner that absorbs front, side, or rear forces. The helmet also includes a 4-point cross-over chin strap with a quick release buckle adjustable for a secure fit, a rugged non-slip adjustable Sure-Lock wheel ratchet for optimal suspension performance, and comfortable padding above the brow line. It meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class E standards and complies with clauses 4.2 of EN12492. Additionally, it is compatible with the full line of Traverse accessories, features a cap style brim, and uses a wheel ratchet for size adjustment. The helmet is recyclable through the TerraCycle® program, promoting waste reduction in manufacturing facilities and jobsites, although contaminated PPE cannot be recycled.
