The ANSI certified Type II, Class C industrial climbing helmet offers superior impact protection while working at heights or in confined spaces. It features an ultra lightweight ABS shell and an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner that, together with the highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension, provide exceptional protection from top of head and lateral impact hazards. The helmet incorporates the Traverse™ - MIPS® system, which includes a low friction layer allowing the head to move inside the helmet (10mm - 15mm relative motion in all directions) to redirect harmful rotational motion. Additional features include a 4-point cross-over chin strap with a quick release buckle adjustable for a secure fit, a rugged non-slip adjustable Sure-Lock wheel ratchet for proper suspension performance for all head sizes, and comfortable padding above the brow line. The helmet meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class E and complies with clauses 4.2 of EN12492. It is compatible with a full line of Traverse accessories. The chin strap is made of 4-point polyester, and the cap style vented shell allows air movement inside for better user comfort and cooling. The helmet is end of life recyclable via the TerraCycle® program, which provides a convenient way of collecting used PPE to help reduce landfill waste, though contaminated PPE cannot be recycled.
