The ANSI certified Type II, Class E industrial climbing helmet offers superior impact protection while working at heights or in confined spaces. It features a super lightweight ABS shell combined with an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner, working in conjunction with a highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension to provide exceptional protection from top of head and lateral impact hazards. The Traverse™ - MIPS® includes a low friction layer that allows the head to move inside the helmet (10mm - 15mm relative motion in all directions), which helps redirect harmful rotational motion that could be transferred to the head. Key specifications include an ultra-lightweight ABS shell for superior protection, a MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) designed to reduce rotational motion from angled impacts, and an EPS foam impact liner that absorbs forces from front, side, or rear impacts. It includes a 4-point cross-over chin strap with a quick-release buckle that is adjustable for a secure fit, while the rugged non-slip adjustable Sure-Lock wheel ratchet ensures proper suspension performance and effortless fit for all head sizes. The inner suspension features comfortable padding above the brow line, and the helmet meets the ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class E standards as well as clauses 4.2 of EN12492. Additionally, it is compatible with the full line of Traverse accessories, has a chin strap made of 4-point polyester, and is end-of-life recyclable via the TerraCycle® program. The helmet has a cap style brim and is non-vented, meaning it has no openings for airflow, and utilizes a wheel ratchet for size adjustment.
