The ANSI certified Type II, Class E industrial climbing helmet offers superior impact protection while working at heights or in confined spaces. It features a super lightweight ABS shell and an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner that work together with the highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension to provide exceptional protection from top-of-head and lateral impact hazards. The Traverse™ - MIPS® includes a low friction layer that allows the head to move inside the helmet with 10mm - 15mm of relative motion in all directions, effectively redirecting harmful rotational motion away from the head. This helmet boasts an ultra-lightweight ABS material for superior protection, a MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) designed to reduce rotational motion from angled impacts, and an EPS foam impact liner that helps absorb forces from front, side, or rear impacts. It comes with a 4-point cross-over chin strap featuring a quick release buckle that is adjustable for a secure fit, along with a rugged non-slip adjustable Sure-Lock wheel ratchet that ensures proper suspension performance and effortless fit for all head sizes. The inner suspension provides comfortable padding above the brow line and meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class E standards, as well as clauses 4.2 of EN12492. The helmet is compatible with the full line of Traverse accessories, features a 4-point polyester chin strap, and is end-of-life recyclable via the TerraCycle® program. The brim style is cap style, and the shell is a non-vented hard hat with no openings for airflow. Size adjustment is facilitated by a wheel ratchet.
