The ANSI certified Type II, Class E industrial climbing helmet offers superior impact protection for working at heights or in confined spaces, featuring a super lightweight ABS shell and an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner. These components work together with a highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension to provide exceptional protection from top of head and lateral impact hazards. The helmet incorporates MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), which includes a low friction layer designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the head from angled impacts, allowing for 10mm to 15mm of relative motion in all directions. Key features include an EPS foam impact liner that absorbs the forces of front, side, or rear impacts, a 4-point cross-over chin strap with a quick release buckle for a secure fit, a rugged non-slip adjustable Sure-Lock wheel ratchet for proper suspension performance, and comfortable padding above the brow line. This helmet meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class E and complies with clauses 4.2 of EN12492. It is compatible with the full line of Traverse accessories, and the chin strap is made of 4-point polyester. Additionally, it is end-of-life recyclable via the TerraCycle® program. The brim style is cap style, and the shell is a non-vented hard hat with no openings for airflow for ventilation. Size adjustment is accomplished with a wheel ratchet.
