The K6DTP kit includes a #10 Phillips/Slotted drive sheet metal screw and a #222 extruded tubular plastic anchor, making it suitable for solid and hollow wall applications, including concrete, block, or brick. When installed in hollow walls, such as drywall or plywood, the red green wings of the anchor will splay out to enhance secure installation and provide a higher pull-out load. Designed with a lip to prevent the anchor from falling into deep holes or hollow walls, it requires the anchor size to determine the appropriate hole size for hard wall applications. For drywall or softer materials, it is advisable to use the smallest hole that allows a tight fit of the anchor. The kit is not recommended for overhead applications or scenarios where holding values are critical. It features a tapered body and a collar to prevent the anchor from falling through the base material.
