The RD3DDTP kit is designed for use in solid/hollow wall, concrete, block, and brick applications, providing a versatile solution for various installation needs. In hollow walls, such as drywall or plywood, the red wings extend to ensure a more secure installation and enhance pull-out load capacity. The anchor includes a lip to prevent it from falling into deep holes or hollow walls, while a tapered body and collar are incorporated to prevent the anchor from falling through the base material. For hard wall applications, the anchor size dictates the required hole size for installation, whereas for drywall or softer applications, it is advisable to use the smallest hole that allows for a tight fit of the anchor. It is important to note that these anchors are not suitable for overhead applications or situations where holding values are critical.
