The RD3 kit is designed for solid and hollow wall, concrete, block, or brick applications. It includes anchors that splay out when used in hollow walls, such as drywall or plywood, enhancing installation security and pull-out load capacity. Each anchor features a lip to prevent it from falling into deep holes or hollow walls, while the tapered body and collar ensure it does not fall through the base material. When installing in hard wall applications, the anchor size will determine the necessary hole size, whereas for drywall or softer materials, it is advisable to create the smallest hole that allows for a secure fit of the anchor. However, these anchors are not suitable for overhead applications or situations where holding values are critical.
