The K7DC kit includes #10 square drive sheet metal screws and #22 plastic conical anchors, designed for use in solid and hollow wall, concrete, block, or brick applications. When utilized in hollow walls, such as drywall or plywood, the red wings of the anchors will splay out to ensure a more secure installation and enhance pull-out load capacity. Each anchor is equipped with a lip to prevent it from falling into deep holes or hollow walls. For installation in hard wall applications, the size of the anchor should dictate the hole size. For drywall or softer materials, it is advisable to use the smallest hole that allows for a snug fit of the anchor. These anchors are not suitable for overhead applications or scenarios where holding values are critical. The kit features a tapered body and collar to prevent falling through the base material.
