The K14CHXTP kit is designed for use in solid and hollow wall, concrete, block, or brick applications. When installed in hollow walls, such as drywall or plywood, the red green wings expand to enhance installation security and increase pull-out load capacity. The anchor is equipped with a lip to prevent it from falling into deep holes or hollow spaces. For hard wall applications, the anchor size is used to determine the appropriate hole size for installation. For drywall or softer materials, it is advisable to use the smallest hole that allows a snug fit for the anchor. These anchors are not suitable for overhead installation or scenarios where holding values are critical. The kit features a tapered body and collar, which help prevent the anchor from falling through the base material.
