The K14CHX kit is designed for solid and hollow wall, concrete, block, or brick applications. When applied to hollow walls like drywall or plywood, the red green wings expand to enhance secure installation and increase pull-out load. The anchor includes a lip that prevents it from falling into deep holes or hollow areas. For hard wall applications, the size of the anchor determines the required hole size for installation, while for drywall or soft applications, it is advisable to use the smallest hole that allows a tight fit of the anchor. These anchors are not intended for overhead applications or situations where holding values are critical. The kit features a tapered body and a collar to prevent the anchor from falling through the base material.
