The K14CTP kit is designed for use in solid and hollow wall applications, including concrete, block, or brick. When installed in hollow walls like drywall or plywood, the red green wings expand to enhance security and increase pull-out load. The anchor includes a lip to prevent it from falling into deep holes or hollow walls. For hard wall applications, the size of the anchor indicates the required hole size for installation, while for drywall or softer materials, it is advisable to use the smallest hole that allows a snug fit of the anchor. This product features a tapered body and collar to prevent slipping through the base material. The kit is not suitable for overhead applications or situations where holding values are critical.
