The K6COTP kit is designed for use in solid and hollow wall, concrete, block, or brick applications. When installed in hollow walls, such as drywall or plywood, the red-green wings expand to ensure a more secure installation and enhanced pull-out load capacity. The anchor includes a lip to prevent it from falling into deep holes or hollow walls. For hard wall installations, the appropriate hole size should be determined based on the anchor size. In drywall or soft applications, it is advisable to use the smallest hole that allows for a snug fit of the anchor. These anchors are not suitable for overhead applications or situations where holding values are critically important. The design features a tapered body and a collar to prevent the anchor from falling through the base material.
