The K6D kit is designed for application in solid and hollow walls, concrete, blocks, or bricks. When installed in hollow walls such as drywall or plywood, the red green wings extend to enhance the security of the installation and increase pull-out load capacity. The anchor includes a lip to prevent it from falling into deep holes or hollow walls. For hard wall applications, the size of the anchor should dictate the hole size for installation. In drywall or softer materials, it is advisable to create the smallest hole that allows for a snug fit of the anchor. It is important to note that these anchors are not suitable for overhead applications or situations where holding values are critical.
