Lag shields are a two-piece die cast anchor designed for use with lag screws in various materials, including mortar joints, poured concrete, brick, and concrete blocks. After drilling the hole, the anchor installs with finger pressure or light taps. The lag shield is available in two different lengths: short and long. The shorter style is ideal for harder masonry materials that reduce drilling time, while the longer version provides increased strength in softer or weaker masonry materials.
