Air handling cable ties are designed for use in air handling spaces located above drop ceilings, below raised flooring, and within plenums. These cable ties feature an angled tip and rounded edges for ease of installation, combined with superior locking power for reliable performance. Constructed from tough nylon 6/6, they demonstrate low smoke generation and low heat release, making them suitable for environments that require stringent safety standards. The cable ties utilize a screw or rivet for mounting to surfaces prior to final assembly. They comply with Section 300.22(c) and (d) of the National Electrical Code, as well as Rules 12-010 (3), (4), and (5) and 12-020 of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1.
