Hex head tap bolts are designed to be fastened into internally tapped holes or used with a nut to effectively pull assemblies together over a long length. For adjustment applications, they can be paired with jam nuts to secure the assembly in place. These bolts are manufactured to the IFI-199 standard and include several special features such as being fully threaded, corrosion resistant, constructed from low carbon steel, and zinc plated.
