The composite safety toe boots feature a 10-inch height and a Red Chevron-Plus® outsole that is slip-resistant per ASTM F3445, the standard specification as of July 2021. Constructed from Aerex 1.5.5® material, which is 40% lighter, these boots provide unmatched all-day comfort, while a thumb pocket at the top opening allows for a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning. The durable, seamless upper is 100% liquid proof, and the bevelled heel design helps reduce back and leg strain. The composite safety toe meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH standards and will not trigger metal detectors, while the tiny air bubbles within the material help maintain temperature, keeping feet warm in the cold and cool in heat. Additionally, the Chevron-Plus® nitrile rubber outsole ensures superior grip on dry, wet, and contaminated surfaces and features tread wear indicators to signal when half the tread has worn away. The boots have achieved a passing result for ASTM F1671 resistance to viral penetration. Available in a navy blue upper with a red outsole, the boots are made from a proprietary Aerex 1.5.5® chemical-resistant, thermally-insulative microcellular polymer. Labeling includes a date code, country of origin, and size marked on the outsoles, along with a printed hangtag detailing the name, style, and product features and benefits. These boots are suitable for various applications, including jobs in food processing (dairy, meats, vegetables, and refrigerated/frozen foods), petrochemical, farm/ag, and chemical industries. The removable contour cushion insoles absorb moisture.
