The composite safety toe boots feature a 10-inch height and a Red Chevron-Plus® outsole, slip-resistant per ASTM F3445, the standard specification as of July 2021. Constructed from AEREX 1.5.5® material, these boots are 40% lighter for unbeatable all-day comfort and include a thumb pocket at the top opening for a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning. The durable, seamless upper is 100% liquid proof, while the Chevron-Plus® nitrile rubber outsole provides superior grip on dry, wet, and contaminated surfaces. The composite safety toe meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH standards and will not set off metal detectors. Additional features include tiny air bubbles in the material that help regulate temperature, tread wear indicators that show when half the tread has worn away, and a passing result for ASTM F1671 resistance to viral penetration. The boots come in navy blue with a red outsole, and the material consists of a proprietary, chemical-resistant, thermally insulative, microcellular polymer. Markings on the outsoles include the date code, country of origin, and size, while compliance with ASTM F2413, F3445, and California Prop 65 is indicated on the labeling. Suitable for various jobs within food processing (including dairy, meats, vegetables, and refrigerated/frozen foods), petrochemical, farm/ag, and chemical industries, the boots also feature removable contour cushion insoles that absorb moisture.
