The boots feature a composite safety toe that does not transfer cold or set off metal detectors, providing comfort and safety. They have a durable, seamless upper that is 100% liquid proof and a lightweight construction with a cushioned heel and slip-resistant nitrile rubber outsole. The mid-calf height allows pant legs to fit over the tops of the boots if necessary, and the beveled heel reduces back and leg strain. Standing at 10 inches, the boots incorporate a composite safety toe and a Red Chevron-Plus® outsole that is slip-resistant in accordance with ASTM F3445, the standard specification as of July 2021. Made from Aerex 1.5.5® material, which is 40% lighter for all-day comfort, they include a thumb pocket at the top opening for a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning. The Chevron-Plus® nitrile rubber outsole provides superior grip on dry, wet, and contaminated surfaces, while the composite safety toe meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH standards and will not trigger metal detectors. Tiny air bubbles in the material help to keep feet warm in cold and cool in heat, and the tread wear indicators signal when half the tread has worn away. These boots have also achieved a passing result for ASTM F1671 resistance to viral penetration. They come in navy blue upper with a red outsole and utilize a proprietary, chemical-resistant, thermally-insulative, microcellular polymer called Aerex 1.5.5®. The boots are labeled with a date code, country of origin, and size on the outsoles, and a printed hangtag displays the name, style, and product features. They are compliant with ASTM F2413, F3445, and California Prop 65. Suitable applications include various jobs within food processing (such as dairy, meats, vegetables, and refrigerated/frozen foods), petrochemical, farm/agriculture, and chemical industries. The boots are equipped with removable contour cushion insoles that absorb moisture.
