These sturdy steel cans feature leakproof construction and a foot-operated, self-closing lid that automatically opens for the safe disposal of hazardous waste while minimizing the risk of contamination. Upon release of the pedal, the lid closes quickly. For quiet environments, SoundGard™ models are equipped with a muffling pad inside the lid, reducing closure noise by approximately 200% compared to standard models. The cans can hold an optional biohazard bag #05901 securely around the circumference of the can top. Additionally, an optional label kit #25880 is available, which complies with California Health and Safety Code 118280, providing three labels and instructions to ensure visibility of warning labels from all sides.
