The Cable Protector, Guard Dog, is a 3-channel drop-over model designed for heavy-duty use, offering a load capacity of 42,000 lb. Constructed from all-weather polyurethane, this cable protector is suitable for both temporary and permanent applications, effectively safeguarding pipes, conduits, and cable/hose lines. Each segment measures 18 inches in length and features a patented 5-bar tread surface that ensures safe, high-traction passage for vehicles and pedestrian traffic in various settings including industrial, commercial, and public environments. The design includes two extra-wide channels capable of accommodating multiple lines or hoses up to 1-5/16 inches in outside diameter. The Guard Dog cable protectors are easy to store when not in use and can be connected to standard Guard Dog 5-channel models or other compatible cable protectors using Dog-Bone connectors to achieve the desired length. It is important to note that these drop-overs should be placed on a flat surface as they do not provide protection against abrasion from below.
