The low hazard bump cap is designed for environments where head protection is desired but not mandated, providing ventilation and a lightweight construction for total wearer comfort. It is ideal for use in industries such as aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, heavy equipment and machinery assembly, food and beverage, brewing, painting, HVAC and electrical work, maintenance departments, truck drivers, and installation. This cap helps reduce exposure to minor injuries like bumps, cuts, scrapes, and bruises caused by accidental impacts to the head. Recommended for use in food services, municipal services, and transportation, the bump cap addresses hazards such as abrasion and cut/puncture. It is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and is not approved for use where AS/NZS certified head protection is required, as it does not comply with relevant regulations.
