The North Silver Shield® SSG is a 2.7 mil ambidextrous glove that provides resistance to over 280 chemicals, including alcohols (aliphatic and aromatic), chlorines, ketones, and esters. Designed primarily for use as a secondary liner, these gloves enhance worker protection in heavy-duty environments where mechanical damage to gloves is a concern. The product does not contain latex or chemical accelerators and is often utilized in hazmat situations. Additionally, the North Silver Shield® SSG is available in booties, sleeves, and aprons, with a thickness of 2-11/16 mil. For optimal storage, it is recommended that the product be kept in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and other strong light sources, and away from chemicals, with a recommended temperature range of 50°F to 86°F (10°C to 30°C). Available sizes range from 7 to 11, and the gloves offer chemical permeation resistance, measured in minutes.
