The 3/8" mini ball valve features a 400 CWP rating and is designed with MNPT x FNPT connections. This chrome-plated mini ball valve is constructed with a one-piece barstock-type body, which effectively eliminates seam leaks commonly found in two-piece body designs. It is particularly suitable for gaugecock applications where the lever handle does not obstruct the gauge face. This valve serves as a low-cost, full-port ball valve replacement, providing superior performance compared to gate or stop valve designs. The short-pattern body allows for installation in confined piping spaces where full-pattern ball valves may not fit. Available nominal pipe thread sizes include 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2", in both FNPT x FNPT and MNPT x FNPT configurations. Key features include threaded end connections that conform to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 and manufacturing in an ISO 9002 accredited facility. The cold working pressure (CWP) is rated at 400 CWP, while the valve is not suitable for steam service (WSP). The ball is made of chrome-plated forged brass in accordance with ASTM B124 UNS C377005.
