This bottom-loaded, blowout-proof stem includes PTFE packing gland and a forged brass packing nut, ensuring durability and reliability. The valve is equipped with durable PTFE seats and a self-cleaning forged brass ball that is chrome-plated to resist scale build-up. It is also third-party certified, complying with ANSI/NSF 61 for Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects, ANSI/NSF 372 for Lead Content, ANSI Z21.15 for Gas Appliance Connector Valve for 1/2 lb.
