The 1" T-2002NL No Lead, DZR Forged Brass Ball Valve features compression ends and a drainable lead-free full port design, making it suitable for all no-lead potable water installations while ensuring full compliance with lead-free plumbing laws. This dezincification-resistant (DZR) forged brass valve is engineered to resist corrosion from a variety of water conditions. It offers a bubble-tight shutoff and a capped waste port that allows for isolation, draining, and servicing of the plumbing system, aiding in maintenance or preventing freeze-up. The tubing compression connections facilitate easy and convenient replacement of a worn, leaded valve without the need for sweating. The working pressure for non-shock (PSI) cold working pressure (CWP) ranges from 1/2" to 1" with a rating of 400 CWP, though it is not suitable for saturated steam service. Key features include third-party testing and certification in compliance with U.S. Federal Public Law 111-380 (National Lead-Free Plumbing Law) and UPC/IAPMO certification to ANSI/NSF Standard 61-G. End connections adhere to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 (FNPT) and ANSI/ASME B16.18 (CTS SOLDER), and the valve conforms to MSS SP-110 standards. The ball is made of lead-free chrome plated forged brass, UNS alloy C46500, manufactured in an ISO accredited facility.
