The 3/8" chrome brass mini ball valve (400 CWP) features a chrome-plated, one-piece barstock-type body designed to eliminate seam leaks commonly found in two-piece body designs. This valve is particularly suitable for gaugecock applications, ensuring that the lever handle does not obstruct the gauge face. Serving as a low-cost, full-port replacement for other valve types, it can be installed in place of gate or stop valves while offering improved performance. The short-pattern body allows for installation in confined piping systems where full-pattern ball valves may not fit. It is available in nominal pipe thread sizes of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2", with options for FNPT x FNPT and MNPT x FNPT configurations. Key features include threaded end connections that conform to ANSI / ASME B1.20.1, manufacturing in an ISO 9002 accredited facility, a cold working pressure (CWP) rating of 400 CWP, and the valve is not suitable for steam service. The ball is made from chrome plated forged brass meeting ASTM B124 UNS C377005 specifications.
