The 1/2" T2002NL No Lead DZR Forged Brass Ball Valve features compression ends and a drainable design, making it suitable for all no-lead potable water installations while ensuring full compliance with lead-free plumbing laws. The valve is constructed from dezincification-resistant (DZR) forged brass, which provides resistance to corrosion in various water conditions. It offers a bubble-tight shutoff and a capped waste port, enabling isolation, drain down, and servicing of the plumbing system to facilitate maintenance and prevent freeze-up. The tubing compression connections allow for easy replacement of a worn, leaded valve without the need for sweating. The working pressure for non-shock (PSI) cold working pressure (CWP) is rated at 400 CWP for sizes 1/2"-1", while the valve is not suitable for steam service. This product has been third-party tested and is certified in compliance with U.S. Federal Public Law 111-380 (National Lead-Free Plumbing Law) and meets ANSI/NSF Standard 61-G standards, with end connections adhering to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 (FNPT) and ANSI/ASME B16.18 (CTS solder), conforming to MSS SP-110. The ball is made of lead-free chrome plated forged brass, UNS alloy C46500, and is manufactured in an ISO accredited facility.
