The 1" P-202NL No Lead Forged Brass Press Ball Valve with Drain is a No Lead Full Port Press-To-Connect Ball Valve designed with waste functionality, made from dezincification-resistant (DZR) forged brass that resists corrosion from various water conditions. It features press-to-connect end connections for installation onto ASTM B88 Types K, L, and M hard-drawn copper tubing, while coiled (annealed) soft copper tubing is not recommended unless the ends are made round. The end connections are compatible with commercially-available VUS profile jaws, and the waste drain allows for line drainage for maintenance or to prevent freeze-up, making it an ideal isolation/winterization valve for exterior sillcock installations. This valve is chrome-plated lead-free forged brass, made from UNS Alloy C46500, and is not suitable for steam service. It is third-party certified under NSF/ANSI 14 for plastic piping system components and related materials, ANSI/NSF 61 for drinking water system components health effects, and NSF/NSF 372 for drinking water system components lead content standards, as well as ANSI/ASME B.16.51 for copper and copper alloy press-connect pressure fittings.
