The 1/2" T2009 NL No Lead Forged Brass Full Port Ball Valve features compression ends and is designed for lead-free potable water installations, ensuring full compliance with all lead-free plumbing laws. Constructed from dezincification-resistant (DZR) forged brass, this valve is highly resistant to corrosion from various water conditions. Its tubing compression connections allow for easy replacement of worn leaded valves without the need for sweating. The quarter-turn, positive shutoff full port design provides an effective solution for replacing leaking multi-turn, drip-tight, reduced port gate valves. The valve includes a self-cleaning chrome-plated ball that resists mineral build-up and scaling. Additionally, it is available with a reversible-position handle for installation flexibility in confined spaces. The valve has a working pressure, non-shock (PSI) of cold working pressure (CWP): 1/2"-1" 600 CWP and saturated steam (WSP): 150 P.S.I. It is third-party tested and certified in compliance with U.S. federal public law 111-380 (National Lead-Free Plumbing Law) and is UPC/IAPMO certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61-G. The ball is made from lead-free chrome plated forged brass, UNS alloy C46500, and is manufactured in an ISO accredited facility.
