The 1/4" mini ball valve (400 CWP), with MNPT x FNPT connections, features a chrome-plated, one-piece barstock-type body that effectively eliminates seam leaks common in two-piece designs. This valve is ideal for gaugecock applications, as its lever handle does not interfere with the gauge face. Serving as a low-cost, full-port ball valve replacement, it offers better performance than gate or stop valve designs. Its short-pattern body allows for installation in confined piping spaces where full-pattern ball valves would be unsuitable. The valve is available in nominal pipe thread sizes of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2", with options for FNPT x FNPT and MNPT x FNPT configurations. Key features include threaded end connections that conform to ANSI / ASME B1.20.1, and it is manufactured in an ISO 9002 accredited facility. The cold working pressure (CWP) is rated at 400 CWP, and it is noted that this valve is not suitable for steam service.
