The 3/4 T2002NL No Lead, DZR Forged Brass Ball Valve features compression ends and is designed to be drainable. This lead-free full port tubing compression ball valve is suitable for all no-lead potable water installations, ensuring compliance with all applicable lead-free plumbing laws. Constructed from dezincification-resistant (DZR) forged brass, it is engineered to resist corrosion from various water conditions. The valve offers a bubble-tight shutoff and a capped waste port, allowing for the isolation, drain down, and servicing of the plumbing system, which is essential for maintenance or preventing freeze-up. The tubing compression connections facilitate the easy and lead-free compliant replacement of worn, leaded valves without the need for sweating. It has a working pressure, non-shock (PSI) cold working pressure (CWP) of 400 CWP for sizes 1/2" to 1", and it is not suitable for steam service. The valve is third-party tested and certified in compliance with U.S. Federal Public Law 111-380 (National Lead-Free Plumbing Law) and is UPC/IAPMO certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61-G. The end connections adhere to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 (FNPT) and ANSI/ASME B16.18 (CTS Solder), conforming to MSS SP-110. The ball is made from lead-free chrome plated forged brass, UNS alloy C46500, and is manufactured in an ISO accredited facility.
