The 1" T2009 NL No Lead Forged Brass Full Port Ball Valve features compression ends and is designed with a lead-free construction, making it suitable for all no-lead potable water installations in compliance with lead-free plumbing laws. Its dezincification-resistant (DZR) forged brass construction offers enhanced corrosion resistance against a wide variety of water conditions. The valve includes tubing compression connections that allow for easy and convenient replacement of worn leaded valves without the need for sweating. The quarter-turn, positive-shutoff full port design ensures that the T-2009NL serves as an ideal replacement for leaking multi-turn, drip-tight, reduced port gate valves. Additionally, the self-cleaning chrome-plated ball minimizes mineral build-up and scaling. The valve comes with a reversible-position handle, providing installation flexibility in confined applications. It has a working pressure of 600 CWP for sizes ranging from 1/2" to 1", with a saturated steam pressure (WSP) rating of 150 P.S.I. The product is third-party tested and certified in compliance with U.S. Federal Public Law 111-380 (National Lead-Free Plumbing Law) and is UPC/IAPMO certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61-G. The lead-free chrome plated forged brass ball is manufactured from UNS alloy C46500 in an ISO accredited facility.
